Why Single Source of Truth?

A usage scenario for Barbados

We duplicate and triplicate data and processes often. This is not only time consuming for the customer but also for the service provider. Our usage scenario posits that a web service such as BarbadosSSOT be used by the Government of Barbados (data owner) to capture, store and manage all Personal Identifiable Information (PII) for every citizen (data subject) from inception (birth registration of a citizen) to termination (death of a citizen).


Barbados can benefit from having a SSOT data repository that is consumable by private individual or private commercial entities to accurately verify the identity of all Barbadian citizens. Incidentally this is the cornerstone of a digital transformation in Barbados.
